“Euboea is one of the largest Greek islands, and just going around it would require a few days at least. It's a unique place, with the southern side being rugged and windswept and the north side being covered with the lush greenery of pines and cypress trees. Along the spine of Euboea run some of the tallest mountains in Greece, where these pictures were taken, giving you the opportunity to hike down from the mountaintop, following the gorge to reach a beautiful beach where you can cool off after a few hours of hiking.”
